Manufacturer: Centurion Laboratories, India
Pharmaceutical name: Tadalafil
Vidalista aids in achieving a satisfactory erection during sexual intercourse by enhancing blood circulation in the penis and relaxing the smooth muscles of the arteries. It is effective only in the presence of sexual stimulation. The primary ingredient in Vidalista is Tadalafil.

Tadalafil acts as a potent, reversible, selective inhibitor of phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE 5) that targets cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). When sexual arousal leads to the local release of nitric oxide, Tadalafil’s inhibition of PDE 5 results in increased cGMP levels in the corpus cavernosum of the penis. This process promotes relaxation of arterial smooth muscles and enhances blood flow to penile tissues, facilitating erections. Tadalafil is ineffective without sexual stimulation.

The suggested dosage for Vidalista is 20 mg, which should be taken at least 16 minutes prior to sexual activity. Its effects can last for up to 36 hours. Vidalista should only be taken once a day, and it’s important not to exceed this dose.

It is advisable to avoid using Vidalista with grapefruit juice, alcoholic drinks, or tobacco products. Concurrent use of tobacco and Vidalista may increase the risk of a condition known as NAION (sudden vision loss related to the optic nerve). Prior to taking Vidalista, inform your doctor if you have any penile abnormalities, such as a curved penis or congenital defects, a history of coronary artery disease, arrhythmia, angina, heart attack, heart failure, hypotension, hypertension, bleeding disorders, stomach ulcers, diabetes, hyperlipidemia (high lipid levels in the blood), sickle-cell anemia, or liver or kidney failure.

Vidalista is not recommended for patients using any type of organic nitrate, whether on a regular or intermittent basis, as it can enhance the blood pressure-lowering effects of nitrates.

The most common side effects of Vidalista include facial flushing, headaches, stomach discomfort, diarrhea, flu-like symptoms, and nausea. Less frequently, it may lead to low blood pressure, blurred vision, alterations in color vision, and abnormal ejaculation. There is also a risk of prolonged erections or priapism (painful erections lasting over 6 hours). If an erection lasts longer than 4 hours, seek immediate medical attention to prevent permanent damage to the penis. Additionally, there have been reports of worsening heart issues in patients with pre-existing heart diseases taking Vidalista.
